Visions of the Apocalypse 1: Slaves that Chose Their Masters

The final solution…

I believe it was the late Jerry Spence who observed, (I’m paraphrasing)
“ours is the first time in history when slaves choose their masters”.

One problem with the masters’ shortsightedness is they will eventually pay so little that they’ll have no one to buy their products, and they’ll go out of business. But for the slaves, there’s an even bigger problem looming; When slaves are no longer needed, they’ll become a burdensome swarm of pests that need to be exterminated.

Though many are calling the various internecine conflicts (Iraq, Syria, the Koreas, and the red state blue state struggles)the result of tribal rivalries, the more accurate underlying cause is the lack of available resources such as food, water, and yes…jobs.

If we consider human population as a mass similar to a larger version of bacteria or fungus growing without restraint, the mass needs to be fed or a significant portion of it (if not all) will die off.

If we take the so-called 10,000 foot view from above, we (humans) do resemble a colony of bacteria that really has no where left to grow. Adding our seeming disregard for the environment together with our willingness to see others as a threat, and couple both with the rise of A. I. robots, then the resistance necessary to change the course of history, so there’s a history left for us all, needs to start now.
